PRIVACY POLICY PURSUANT TO PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT 2010

The D-8 Malaysia Foundation is committed to protecting your privacy and will take the relevant measures to safeguard your personal information in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

In compliance with the laws of Malaysia, you hereby consent and authorise D-8 Malaysia Foundation to collect, process, safe keep the required details and disclose your personal details to the related parties involved with D-8 Malaysia Foundation. Any withdrawal of your consent given shall be made in writing and received by D-8 Malaysia Foundation.

D-8 Malaysia Foundation will not disclose your personal data to unaffiliated third parties without your consent. However, D-8 Malaysia Foundation may disclose your personal data if required by law or in good faith, if such action is necessary to comply with any law enforcement agency requirements, court orders, legal processes or auditors and professional advisories.

Should there be any request to refund any donation, the Donor can contact us within fourteen (14) days:

by phone at [D-8 Malaysia Foundation phone number] (replace with actual phone number)
by post to D-8 Malaysia Foundation, Headquarter, [D-8 Malaysia Foundation address] (replace with actual address)
and we shall refund the donation accordingly once we have processed the request.

Efforts will be made to ensure that any Personal Data held by D-8 Malaysia Foundation is kept up-to-date and is protected against any loss, misuse, modification, unauthorised or accidental access or disclosure, alteration or destruction.

D-8 Malaysia Foundation may regularly review the security measures in safe keeping your Personal Data and only authorised staff of D-8 Malaysia Foundation who have been duly trained are allowed to handle the Personal Data.

Any Personal Data supplied by you will be retained by D-8 Malaysia Foundation for a period D-8 Malaysia Foundation deems fit and necessary for the fulfilment of the Purposes or is required to satisfy legal regulatory, accounting requirements or to protect D-8 Malaysia Foundation’s interests (“the Retention Period”).

Upon expiry of the Retention Period and/or after D-8 Malaysia Foundation ceases to process your Personal Data, D-8 Malaysia Foundation will take all necessary action to permanently delete and destroy your Personal Data.

D-8 Malaysia Foundation reserves the right to omit, add or amend this policy at any time without prior notice. Any new or amended policy will supersede the existing policy. The policy herein shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

By providing D-8 Malaysia Foundation with your Personal Data, you hereby consent to the processing of your Personal Data in accordance with all of the foregoing (“the Consent”).
